30 Day Digimon Challenge - day 9

I just really like Taiki, guys.  I’m trying not to say too much because I still have to pick a Best Gogglehead later on, but I really, REALLY like Taiki.  The Digimon franchise has a long, troubled history of presenting hot-blooded hero characters in a way that, to me at least, comes across as really obnoxious and annoying in ways that run counter to the show’s obvious intentions.  But Taiki?  No, I genuinely buy it when they say he’s a cool dude, and pretty much every relationship Xros Wars establishes for him is believable and satisfying as a result.  And that’s ESPECIALLY important given the expanded leader roll that Xros Wars required- NO NO, WE’RE NOT THERE YET!  *sigh*  I just totally buy that Taiki is everybody’s best friend, okay?
