To be fair, I actually like Davis but I see Tai’s point their his goggles...
Also I still wonder why he didn’t give the goggles to TK... Is it because TK has to have a hat?
Davis can still be the kid we see most before Ken arrives, he can still be the one who believes in Ken, but imagine Davis having to try to convince people to give Ken a chance if he wasn’t the leader... Things would be harder for him and we can see more development from him.
Imagine TK being jealous Davis gets to DNA digivolve with someone first, being jealous Davis and Ken get more evolutions and being jealous that Davis is the person Ken likes best. For this I just want to see TK be jelly.
